What started as a small boutique in Centre, Alabama has grown into something far bigger than we ever imagined. Through every season of growth, one thing has never changed — people come first.

Founded in 1992 by Kim Kidd, The Willow Tree was built on faith, connection, and a deep desire to help women feel confident, seen, and supported. From the very beginning, this business was covered in prayer and guided by trusting God one step at a time. What began as one storefront has grown into multiple locations, an online store, and a community of women who truly care for one another.

The Willow Tree is about creating a space where women feel comfortable being themselves. Getting dressed should feel joyful and easy, but it should also feel personal. Every piece we bring in is thoughtfully chosen with real women and real life in mind — the busy days, the celebrations, the hard seasons, and everything in between.

We’re proud to be a family-run business, but “family” to us means so much more than last names. Our team is made up of hardworking women (and a few men 😉) who lead with kindness, serve with purpose, and genuinely care about the people we get to do life with every day.

When I opened The Willow Tree in 1992, I never imagined what it would become. I simply wanted to create a place where women felt seen, valued, and confident — and I trusted God with the rest.

This business has always been guided by faith. There have been seasons of growth, seasons of uncertainty, and plenty of moments where prayer was the only next step. One thing I’ve always lived by is this: show up, do your best, and let God do the rest. That belief has carried me through every season and continues to guide how we lead, serve, and care for one another.

Our team pours so much love into this place, but our customers have always been at the center of it all. You’re not just shopping here but you’re part of our family, and that means everything to me!
